The Advanced Manufacturing Park (AMP) is the UK’s hub of engineering excellence with inspiring purpose-built facilities, based close to M1/J33, with neighbours including McLaren, Rolls Royce and Boeing and the state-of-the-art AMRC Training Centre who we partner with to train our apprentices.
Many of the Group’s senior management have been developed and promoted from shopfloor level; we actively encourage and promote employee development.

Due to experiencing a period of growth and investment across the Group, we welcome applications for the following positions;
*Vacancies/Summer 2024*
– Quality Inspector/s (Experienced CMM operator plus extensive manual inspection experience essential) potential future progression dependent on experience.
– Paint Shop Preparation (shot-blaster/paint shop labourer) dual shift

We are always interested in hearing directly from highly skilled CNC machine-setter-operators in either Milling or Turning.
Please state what dimensions, tolerances, materials and controls you are used to operating upon application.
Shift patterns available: Day shift, Duals shift, PM shift – please state your preference upon application.
X-Cel machines are CNC controlled and include;
– CNC Millers
– CNC Turners
– Vertical & horizontal millers and borers
– Long bed & vertical lathe operators
An X-Cel machinist is;
– A competent machine setter-operator who can write & edit programs
– Capable of performing initial inspections of your own/a team member’s work (using a variety of equipment ie micrometers)
– Experienced in at least one of the following CNC controls – Fanuc, Heidenhain, Siemens, Mazatrol
