While our factory in Sheffield specialises in the manufacture of complex components often made from exotic materials and demanding short lead times, our Indian factory, located in Faridabad near Delhi, compliments this with production of simpler, higher volume, low cost components.

We have now been machining gaskets in Xcel India since 2007. We benefit from a skilled work force and intelligent top level management that have allowed us to increase our size and capacity at an impressive rate.

X-CEL India benefits from the following:

Ring Joint Gaskets
Our Indian factory is API-6A approved. We currently manufacture RTJs (Ring Type Joints) in a variety of materials, specializing in Soft Iron and Stainless Steel, and can produce a full range of R, RX and BX type gaskets (please see our 'Ring Gasket Flyer' in the 'Downloads' section of our website).

- 5 CNC lathes, turning up to 850mm diameter by 800mm long, featuring:

- 1 Manual lathe (Colchester Triumph 2000)
- Fusion welding facilities
With a view to further expansion by mid 2010.


Quality
The Indian facility works to the same quality system as our UK factory and the X-CEL Superturn UK quality manager makes regular visits to ensure that standards are consistently maintained.

Production Control
Our bespoke Factory Master production control system that helps run our UK factory is linked to our Indian operation so we have complete knowledge and control over the production in Faridabad. Xcel Superturn (GB) Ltd now employs a British Operations Manager who is based in our factory in Faridabad. This gives us total control over all aspects of the business and provides us with realistic and up to date information on a daily basis.
